  • FWIS courses are in full swing. New students are required to take the course in their first year. They cannot drop, nor can they pass fail. Keep this in mind with scheduling in the future.

• Pilot the committee program
• Increase year-long PAA involvement through the committee program & PAL Program
• Increase visibility both online and on campus

• Univ 220/320—Email Stephanie if you are interested in starting a PAA project for course credit
• PAA T-Shirt Order – Web link sent out via email
• Health Professions Orientation- Wednesday, August 29^th– 6:30 pm, Grand Hall
• Discover Research Fair- Thursday, August 30^th 5-6:30 pm, Grand Hall
• Legalese Meeting- Wednesday, September 5^th 8 pm, Sewall 301
• OAA and PAA Facebook group, Twitter account, and blog

Talk about ideas to increase visibility on campus and within your college

• Door Signs (Templates in Owlspace)
• Meeting PAL Group
• Announcements at college government meetings
• Events within the college associated with academic advising

• Copies of the Draft committee guidelines are available via Owlspace. These are not the “finalized” versions; they are just to provide you with the resources you need to be more knowledgeable in your area of interest.
• PAAs broke out into committee groups to brainstorm goals and ideas and nominate a committee head.
